Goals
- To enable for comprehensive economic development and human security provisions by encouraging free-market principles that build capacity, and are responsive and accountable to the poor.
- To encourage and promote volunteerism as a basis for community service and outreach among individuals with socio-economic expertise and knowledge.
- To develop and implement sound programs to address challenges in education, health, environment, empowerment, economic development, and self-sufficiency.
- To build and nurture collaboration and partnership with governmental entities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society groups or organizations (CSOs), and all other stakeholders.
- To build a long lasting cultural and educational relationship between Africa and the United States of America for mutual coexistence and prosperity.
Short-term Objectives
- Institute an integrated Community Resource and Development Center (CRDC) with business development and incubator capabilities for local entrepreneurs to access information and training on relevant business practices and also to act as a central service delivery and outreach platform to target community.
- Institute a micro-credit loan program for local entrepreneurs to access financial resources for business development and management through partnership initiatives with local banks and NGO's interested in socio-economic development investments.
Long-term Objectives
- Food and Nutrition – provide lunch program and nutritional education for school children.
- Health education – provide awareness training on prevalent diseases, preventative measures, and proper personal hygiene through community outreach program.
- Women’s empowerment – empower all women in areas of self-esteem, literacy, entrepreneurship, child mortality, problems associated with pregnancy and child delivery, and proper nutrition.
- Best practices in agriculture – encourage and train local farmers to utilize the best and economical practices for maximum yield. Also address challenges in transportation, storage, and market knowledge of products.
- Establish an educational and cultural reciprocal exchange program between African and American colleges and universities for academic, cultural, research, and outreach partnership and collaboration among students and scholars.
