Africa Matters International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the effort of poverty eradication and the promotion of human security in Africa and beyond. Through targeted problem analysis, outreach, and development oriented initiatives, we pursue collaboration and partnerships with experts and stakeholders in key socio-economic areas such as health, education, agriculture, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, and business entrepreneurship by implementing programs designed to improve the overall standard of living for the economically disadvantaged in Africa.
With such unique opportunity, comes the responsibility to act and render meaningful change once and for all. Let’s give Africa a helping hand and not a handout in her last ditch effort to finally combat poverty and create a favorable environment for lasting economic prosperity for her people. If you believe in our transcendence to be a force for good in our global village, and if you believe in our inherent human compassion and our common humanity, and more importantly, if you believe that Africa does matter, then we call upon your support to join us at Africa Matters International (AMI) in our quest for positive change and for the opportunity to make a difference in our world. This is our time. Let’s act and history will judge us accordingly.
Vision
It is our vision to see to it that Africa becomes economically prosperous and self-sustaining in the 21st century, and therefore guaranteeing human security for millions of people living in abject poverty in the continent at the moment.
Mission
Our mission is to design and implement sound, targeted and broad-based programs to promote economic and social entrepreneurship in economically disadvantaged communities in rural Africa.
